Siambr Wen is a well-presented, detached stone cottage, enjoying a quiet location in an elevated position up one of the oldest hills - Pen Dref in the town of Harlech.

This charming cottage has a homely feel and a warm and welcoming ambience. You enter the cottage through a large porch with a WC and basin off, this is ideal for coats, boots and drying off wet dogs.

The modern well-equipped dual aspect kitchen caters for all your needs and affords fabulous views over Harlech Castle, of the sea, golf course and the Llyn peninsular from one side with the other side overlooking the garden. The beamed sitting room, with dining area, has a lovely feature stone wall with wood burning stove.

A staircase from the sitting room leads up to the dormer bedroom which has fantastic views of the castle and coast. This bedroom has a king size bed and also a 3ft. Single. Ideal for people happy to share a room but not a bed. (we only accept 4 people).

Please note:- As the cottage is built on a hill there are steps within the cottage.

Four steps lead out of the sitting room to an internal hallway, from this a bedroom with king size bed looks out onto the garden. Further up the hallway and another five steps lie the bathroom and separate toilet. There is also a second porch here containing a tumble dryer and garden chairs. A door leads out to the lawn and raised patio.

The raised patio is the perfect place to sit and relax after a long day walking on the mountains or a day on the beach. Steps lead down to a lower patio area with table, chairs and barbeque. The garden offers views of Harlech Castle and the sea. Mount Snowdon and Portmerion are also clearly visible.

There are plenty of walks direct from the cottage and a visit to Harlech Castle and visitors’ centre is a must. Harlech also offers a good selection of independent shops, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants, along with a magnificent sandy beach and just over a mile away is the famous Royal St. David's Golf Club, one of the finest links courses in the UK.

Barmouth, Porthmadog, and the world-famous Italianate village and gardens of Portmeirion are all within easy access. This superb cottage provides an excellent Snowdonia base.
